Hello Molly and everyone else in her class at St Thomas More School in Leicester.  We may not be able to do a live broadcast at ten am your time as we are out and about in Seoul.  The weather is lovely,  it’s very warm and the people are extremely friendly.

Our visit to Shingwang Elementary School yesterday was very enjoyable.

During our visit, we were watched Korean children perform dance to Korean pop music.  We couldn’t resist but have ago ourselves!!

Another beautiful day to remember.

Avril, Chris and Ian visited Dong Mak Elementary School today and had a very interesting day with staff and pupils.

We were made to feel extremely welcome and would like to thank the princepal and all of his staff.

We were treated to a fantastic eveing meal where we got to taste some of Korea’s finest dishes.Dong Mak

Nothing like a bit of live-blogging with some enthusiastic Korean students.

Buwon Middle School girls have some ideas about England:

  • nice pronounciation
  • Queen Elizabeth
  • umbrellas
  • fish and chips
  • historical buildings
  • Buckingham Palace

When I think of this school I am filled with confidence that the students will be brilliant lights in Korea and beyond!

Our visit to Injun Middle School yesterday was an immensely rewarding time. Here’s a flavour of the day.

First Day at School

Andi and I visited Buwon Girls’ Middle School today and we both agreed it was by far the most enjoyable day we had had so far.  The staff and students were great and we were looked after really well by Step, our volunteer interpreter.  Step had come all the way over from Seoul and made sure things went smoothly and that we actually managed to get to and from the school.

We are both looking forward to tomorrow when we are going to visit Inju Middle School which we’ve heard greats things about from Peter and Louise.

PS. Hello Molly and Louise x
